Serato Flip allows you to record your Cue Point and Censor actions, which can be saved and looped, ready to re-trigger and start in an instant. Use Serato Flip to create and save up to 6 Flips per track, ready for playback on your NV in the studio or the club. Click record once to arm recording. Once you hit the first cue or censor, recording begins. Hit record again to set the end point of your Flip.
Prepare & Edit Tracks In Offline Mode
Use Serato Flip without your hardware connected.
Flip Saving
Save 6 different Flips per track. Serato Flip information is saved to your tracks metadata and doesn’t edit the audio of the track. You can delete cue points and your Flip will still be remembered.
Hardware Controls, Keyboard Shortcut & Midi Mappable
Control Flip directly from your computer or your controller with a keyboard shortcut and hardware controls being mapped for supported current and future hardware. Flip controls are also MIDI mappable for use with the MIDI controller of your choice.
Looping / Loop Snap
Choose whether your recorded Flip plays through once or loops. Select whether your looped Flip will snap to an end-point that’s on beat with your track.
Recall and Replay
Turn Flips ON / OFF and start your Flip on track load or whenever you like.
Make perfect edits
Platter movements aren’t recorded so you can move the platter to an exact point and trigger a cue point to make the perfect Flip.

Numark Orbit - How to Check Remaining Battery Life
Hold down Virtual Knob Selector K1 while unit is on. The 4 Pad Bank Selectors will light up to indicate how much battery power is remaining (when all 4 Pad Bank Selectors are lit, Orbit has a full battery). Release Virtual Knob Selector K1 and wait a few seconds for Orbit to return to normal operation.

Numark Orbit - How to Reset MIDI to Factory Settings
1. Make sure Orbit is off.
2. Press and hold down Pad Bank Selectors 1 and 4, and then power Orbit on. In User Maintenance Mode, the four PAD BANK buttons will flash red continuously.
3. Press pad 2 and then pad 1. The four pad bank selectors will stop flashing, and all LED and MIDI settings are back to the factory defaults.

Numark Orbit - How to Set Colors to the Pads
You can select the color of the light for each pad in each bank, allowing you to color-code your pads or banks to distinguish between their different functions in your software. Orbit’s memory is non-volatile, which means it will retain your color settings even after you power Orbit off.
1. Press and hold down any Pad Bank Selector for 3 seconds, and then press either shoulder button. The Virtual Knob Selectors will flash to indicate Orbit is in Color Selection Mode (and is not currently controlling the software). Release all buttons.
2. Use the Pad Bank Selectors to select a bank, and then press the pad whose color you want to select. (You can select multiple pads simultaneously. Press a selected pad to deselect it.)
3. Use the shoulder buttons to cycle through the different available colors, which will be shown in the selected pads.
4. Press and hold down any Pad Bank Selector, and then press either shoulder button. The Virtual Knob Selectors will stop flashing, and Orbit’s new pad color settings will be saved.

Numark Orbit - Pairing with the USB Dongle
If the wireless USB receiver’s light is off even when it is connected to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure Orbit is off and the wireless USB receiver is not connected to a computer.
2. Press and hold down Pad Bank Selectors 1 and 4, and then power Orbit on.
3. Press the pad 16. Virtual Knob Selector K1 will flash.
4. Connect the wireless USB receiver to your computer within 10 seconds. Virtual Knob Selector K2 will flash.
5. Press pad 12. The Virtual Knob Selectors (K1, K2, K3, and K4) will flash once to indicate Orbit is paired to the wireless USB receiver.

In this video tutorial we walkthrough the dedicated hardware controls on the Numark 4TRAK that are assigned to the new features of Traktor Pro 2.6 - Flux Mode, Macro FX, Auto-gain, and Effect Routing Assignments. The updated mapping still holds all of the same functionality of the standard Numark 4TRAK mapping. Please note that this mapping, and features require a full version of Traktor Pro 2.6 or higher.

Mike Hoska from Numark interviews the house music legend Maurice Joshua about the Numark NS6!
Joshua was active as a DJ and producer in the early days of the house music scene. His earliest productions were released on the Trax Records label. In the early 1990s, Joshua began producing remixes of songs by artists like Ce Ce Peniston, Malaika and many pop artists, including Michael Jackson. He continues to remix to this day.
Joshua is best known for his 1989 number one Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart hit “This Is Acid (A New Dance Craze).”
