Numark equips Ultimate Bachelor Pad for Esquire Magazine with state-of-the-art DJ Booth

Company Provides First-Ever DJ Booth to Esquire North: The New View

Cumberland, RI (Oct. 17, 2007) – Numark, the world's leading manufacturer of products for the DJ market, is proud to announce participation in Esquire magazine's 'Esquire North: The New View' penthouse. The 'ultimate bachelor pad,' created annually, is designed to showcase the finest in technology, décor and design. This is the first time in the five-year history of the project that a DJ booth has been included.

'This year, we've truly incorporated our brand and those of our partners into the ultimate modern digital home,' says Kevin O'Malley, VP/publisher of Esquire.

The DJ booth, which is wired for sound throughout the 5,700 square-foot, three-story penthouse, is a compilation of Numark Industries' elite products including turntables, mixers, monitors, consoles and software.  The MPC2500 from Akai Professional, the leading beat-making tool in the music industry, is an integral part of the booth, as is the Numark iDJ2, the first iPod mixing console that has the ability to scratch, control pitch and simultaneously play two songs from a single iPod. DJ's, hand-selected by Numark to perform at nearly a dozen signature Esquire North: The New View charity events, have the ability to hook up multiple mass storage devices including iPods, thumb drives and external USB hard drives and input additional audio sources including a microphone, CD player or turntable to keep the party jumping.

'As a leading manufacturer of DJ equipment, it is a natural fit for us to create the first-ever DJ booth for this project,' says Jack O'Donnell, Numark's CEO. 'We are excited to be a part of this year's Esquire North: The New View.  This is the ultimate in state-of-the art equipment for any bachelor who mixes his own music.' O'Donnell added, 'We are also proud to provide the entertainment for so many of the esteemed charity events hosted at the venue.'

Established in 2003, Esquire magazine's annual 'ultimate bachelor pad' is the place where cutting-edge technology merges with the most upscale of venues. Sponsors of this year's project include Jaguar, Louis Vuitton, Moet & Chandon, Versace and KEF, placing Numark in company with some of the finest global brands. The Numark DJ booth, designed to be a full-functional, mobile system, can be found on the main patio of the triplex overlooking Central Park on event nights, with renowned DJs Teddy Ted and Special K behind the decks.
