EUROPEAN DJs:

Numark and Akai Professional are proud to present the Tresor.award. This battle competition will shine the spotlight on tomorrow’s best DJs from all over Europe. The world famous Tresor Club in Berlin, home to the finest techno DJs, is the venue for this outstanding and unique battle. The finals will include Akai Pro APC40 and Numark NS7 showcases by DJ ESKEI83, IDA Show World Champion AKD, and IDA Scratch World Champion Rob Bankz.

The first place winner takes home two Numark TTX USB turntables and a DXM PRO mixer.
The second place winner gets an Akai Pro APC40 and Ableton Live 8.

Who other than Tresor Club could be better in undertaking the job of finding and supporting upcoming talent. That's what two music and media management students at the L-4 Institute in Berlin concluded as part of their diploma work and therefore created the Tresor.award 2009. This contest is geared towards newcomer DJ's and young talented designers.

Tresor is on the lookout for the top DJ's of tomorrow!

- Are you between the ages of 18 and 22?
- Have you always wanted to play in Tresor Club?
- Do you want to be measured against other DJ's and allow your skills to be judged by an international audience and a professional panel of judges?
- Do you have an unequaled record collection?
- Can you present for Tresor Club the techno cocktail of the year?

Then this is your chance!

Starting 07 October 2009 the Tresor.award 2009 will take place during 8 consecutive weeks and YOU can be there! Not only as a visiting guest but active as a DJ!

Just upload your best 30-minute set on the website of Tresor Club's partner, Soundcloud, and with luck you can land among the 18 finalists who starting in October will prove their skills before a professional jury (consisting of music journalists, bookers and DJ's), as well as an international audience. With this you will have your chance to win the Tresor.award 2009 as well as technical prizes and an exclusive, one-year support through the Tresor label, including coachings, promo packages and further national bookings.
