NUMARK INTRODUCES NEW TABLETOP CD TURNTABLES

Performance CD Players Are Easy To Use And Easy To Afford

Cumberland, R.I. (Jul. 17, 2009) –

Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of DJ technology, announces its new NDX200 CD turntable and NDX400 scratch MP3/CD turntable with USB input. NDX200 and NDX400 make their debut at Numark's booth, number 400, at the Summer NAMM Show held at the Nashville Convention Center, July 17 – 19.

NDX200 is a CD turntable with a heavy, rugged build and a large jog wheel for comfortable performance. Numark’s Anti-Shock™ buffered skip-protection technology keeps music playing even when vibrations might cause other players to skip.

NDX200 features seamless looping for creating and integrating loops in instant remixes. Single, continuous, and programmable playback enable DJs to create their own playlist, and fader start enables NDX200 to start playing when the DJ moves the crossfader on a compatible mixer.

NDX400 builds upon all of the features and capabilities of NDX200 to include scratch, adding some key upgrades. The flexible player not only plays standard CDs but it also can play MP3 CDs for lengthy playback from a single disc. The unit also can play from a USB flash drive for even more music-format flexibility.

NDX400 has advanced braking for vinyl-style startup and stopping of playback, and a reverse mode enables DJs to incorporate special effects. The player also offers three hot cue points for quick access to key points in the track.

“Whether you are an experienced veteran or just starting out, NDX200 and NDX400 are perfect choices,” said Mark Matthews, Director of Product Development, Numark. “You get more features for your money with these new CD players.”

NDX200 and NDX400 will be available from DJ and professional audio retailers Q3 2009.
