NUMARK BUNDLES TOTAL CONTROL WITH NATIVE INSTRUMENTS TRAKTOR LE

Lightweight Software Controller Now Bundled with LE Version of Traktor Pro

Cumberland, R.I. (April 1, 2009) – Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of DJ technology, announces that its best-selling software controller, TOTAL CONTROL, is now being bundled with Native Instruments Traktor LE software, a version of Traktor Pro. The new version of TOTAL CONTROL and Traktor LE will make its debut in Numark's stand, B 21 in Hall 5.0 at Musikmesse, April 1 - 4, 2009. Held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Musikmesse is the world's largest fair for musical instruments, live music and the music business.

TOTAL CONTROL is a powerful software controller for performing and producing with DJ software. The time-tested layout works just like two decks and a mixer so DJs find TOTAL CONTROL to be easy to learn and capable of advanced technique. The MIDI controller interfaces with Mac and PC via USB for plug-and-play connection. The USB device requires to no drivers or external power supply so DJs can simply plug in and perform with TOTAL CONTROL and their Mac or PC.

TOTAL CONTROL comes with Native Instruments Traktor LE software, which is based on Traktor Pro. It gives DJs four optional layouts, including cover art. DJs will enjoy new Beatgrid Editing and saving with locked sync for precise performance. New in Traktor LE is manual looping and selectable loop length for flexible loop integration. Additionally, Traktor LE gives DJs a choice of effects per deck including filter, delay, reverb and flanger, rather than a single effect at the master output. TOTAL CONTROL comes factory mapped for use with Traktor Pro or LE for out-of-the-box performance.

TOTAL CONTROL also features lighted controls to indicate status in the software so musicians can spend less time looking at the computer. Because TOTAL CONTROL is MIDI compliant, it can also be used with most other DJ software.

“TOTAL CONTROL is already one of the top controllers on the market,” said Adam Cohen, Director of Business Development, Numark. “The addition of the new Traktor LE software brings even more value.”

The new version of TOTAL COTNROL with Native Instruments Traktor LE will be available from DJ and professional audio retailers Q3, 2009.
