Position Overview

We have an exciting new position offering fantastic career development opportunities for a talented, focused, dynamic and highly-professional Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist. inMusic is the parent company for a family of premier brands that includes AIR Music Technology, Akai Professional, Alesis, Alto Professional, Denon DJ, Denon Professional, ION Audio, Marantz Professional, M-Audio, MixMeister, Rane, Numark and Sonivox.

Reporting directly to the International Channel Marketing Manager and working in tandem with inMusic’s global Branding teams, the job-holder will be responsible for supporting all global social-media centric marketing activity for a defined group of brands within the inMusic portfolio. The successful candidate will join inMusic’s Global Marketing team at an exciting point, refreshing the current social-centric practice by defining and executing meaningful social strategies in line with overarching campaign briefs across all networks to achieve superior customer engagement & intimacy, increased website traffic and growth by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. The successful candidate will also function in lock-step with inMusic’s network of channel partners, generating localized content that meet the needs and activity of all international market segments.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

Qualifications and Required Experience

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Good knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail- and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience of products within the MI Sector is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of Export markets is a plus

Key Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, ability to use and operate standard office equipment including a computer and keyboard, fax and copy machine, scanner, move about within a standard office area.
